Quesiton:

Should blog posts by people who's default language isn't English show up on theSpoke's (English) home page?

It seems to me that the home page should show only things that are in a user's default language; in my case, English. For several months now a certain theSpoke member (no need to point fingers) has been filling up the Recent Blog Posts listing, and not knowing Spanish I can't read any of it. I know that there's gobs of non-English bloggers; is there a way to limit which posts are shown in the list, or do all users have to suffer with posts that they probably can't read?

We will look into it, but if it is just one user you are seeing this happen with, it is possible that they selected English as their default language, but are typing things in Spanish, and that is why you are seeing Spanish on your English home page.  Can you please tell me which user it is so that we can check that possibility?

The user who seems to fill the New Blog List often is Jorge_Acevedo (or Jorgin A.)

Just look at theSpoke Home Page and you'll likely as not see several of his entries.

Thanks

Okay, we will check this user's settings.

Did you ever find out what is going on with that account? They would likely have a lot more readers if they were in the Spanish language section.
