That is indeed ridiculous, there should at least be a refund. Maybe we should start a class action?

Maybe we should... I wonder if we have any legal standing...?  The "Software" tab at the top also says we have access to certain things by having a premium membership, coupled with "lifetime status" I would be inclined to think there would be permanent support, at least for things developped up until the end of 2006, at any rate.  The 2003-2005 package was very useful indeed and now I am having to re-install things, only to find that *poof* our lifetime status benefits are gone.  What would the exact legal arguments be, anyway?

Wow! (Deliberate choice of word there given the current Vistafication of my mind....) I haven’t been on here for ages - because I've had so many problems just going from 1.0 to 2.0. Now, I see Premium stuff seems to have been dropped

How on earth can they ditch a service we paid for?!?!?!?

From the start (with Spoke 1.0) many of the offers werent working with the UK, and now i just feel conned!

An email or official comment would have been nice; but oh, no.. nothing!! No doubt there is somethin gin the legal stuff making the commitment something that is revocable, but still... no email, no nothing? Pretty appalling.

If this was some small dodgy company i would just think "never again", but this is Microsoft! Am I hallucinating???

I'm really not happy.

Yes, the Express editions don't support all that the higher editions do, but I was just trying to help out others who hadn't yet signed up get some usable software.

I agree that Microsoft/e-Academy made a horrible choice to just up and stop servicing those of us who already paid our fee in good faith.  It's apparent that they don't care about theSpoke anymore, or any of us who are involved in it, or else they would be responding to our messages and really helping to keep theSpoke alive.

Gasp! Today I tried to access my Premium account and I got a "Server error"!

Then I found this thread where you say that they had removed Premium feature at all...

But if they decided to remove the feature, why did they not remove the link?

At present, it looks like there is an error... They should at least write a static HTML page saying "We're sorry, Premium is no longer available", or something like this...
