Partition Magic 8.0

I can't seem to install Partition Magic 8.0 on my system and it's getting on my nerves! I keep getting this error "Wizard was interrupted, yada yada". I have googled a bit and it seems that there are some individuals with the same situation who can't install it after installing SP2.

Is there an issue between Partition Magic 8.0 and Windows XP SP2? Have anyone encountered the similar problem?

<rant> I don't know if there is an issue with SP2, but I wouldn't reccommend installing Partition Magic at all. That program causes a number fo problems, most of which there is no real support or solution for. I have never seen a program morre capable of trashing a machine so quickly. I'm not sure what you want to do, but you would be better off using the WinXP install disk for partitioning, or even that included with a Linux disk. </rant>

Thank dude. I know the WinXP install disk is much better but to my understanding I need to format my hard disk to acheive that. Currently, i do not want to do that =)
