Notebooks...
My notebook crashed on Sunday. That was very frustrating indeed. How it happened you may ask. I removed the Bluetooth Tray and Stack service from the startup as it was slowing down my pc. After restarting, I couldnt connect to the internet as there was a clash with my existing built in modem and the bluetooth modem service. So I decided to place it back into the startup list and try connecting back to the internet. It still didnt work. I really needed to go online at that time so I decided to perform a System Restore to the day before.
During the System Restore, my notebook hanged! Can you beat that! What am I do to do now since the system has hanged during System Restore? I had no choice but to restart. After restarting, the system couldnt boot. Some files were missing and got corrupted during the System Restoration process which hanged. I tried booting from safe mode and F-Disk and all sorts of method but it didnt work.
I then decided to reinstall windows or even try repairing it. It didnt work. All sorts of errors and stuff started coming up. Well, I had no choice now but to take out the restore CD's and restore the notebook back to the factory image. And here I am now, with my new "clean" notebook...*sigh*...
